Plan everything.

This is useful at work and while studying. It breaks work up into smaller chunks that you can then just tick off. Write down on a ‘Post It’ the following headings and stick it next to your PC.

  • Objective – Why are you doing whatever you are doing?
  • Output – What products / objects / outcomes will come of it (could be a paper, email, set of notes, questions completed etc)
  • Tasks – What tasks are required to achieve said output?

And then just start ticking tasks off.
